Day 4. A fictional book one of your characters has read. Who read it, and what was it about?

I bet Emisya and Vonaxie are the ones who read the most. While Emisya had read magicless’ books, Vonaxie read Antiques’ books; that’s why I’m sure she was who have in her mind fictional stories because the Antiques’ books talked about the breeds and history.

So I’m now imagining Emisya reading about fictional worlds with a different kind of peace, specially a book her adoptive mother gave her about a romance. To Emisya it was a weird but cute story that narrated about a couple from different countries which were in war, when he was injured she found him and treated him, in that time they known each other until they fall in love; however the conflicts between their countries made impossible to stay together for more time than year.

They tried to run from both places when their child born, but the hunt for them was too dangerous already, so they asked for help to the only friend of the mother and one of the father. Both ran away together until the news about the death of the parents reached them, that made the man return to his country trying to distract and give false information about the child while she hide to rise the baby alone.

The book was named “Red Memories”, Emisya later discovered that the story of the book was, a little, similar to her parents story. She read the book when she was 8 years old and she knew her past until she was eighteen. Emisya almost felt the urge to hit her adoptive mother for that kind of joke and, at the same time, she felt thankful about the book and for let her dream about her true parents.
